I chose FSU for its top-ranked Political Science and International Affairs programs and its location in the state capital, which offers incredible real-world opportunities. I also grew up a fan of FSU Athletics, so becoming a Seminole felt like the perfect fit.
Try to shape your application to represent not just who you are as a student, but who you are as a person. The FSU community is incredibly diverse and filled with so many unique and incredible people, so show that you are fit for that community. Show what you are passionate about, showcase your identity, and be proud of who you are.
The transition from high school to college can be tough, but high school prepared me well by teaching me time management and how to balance academics, activities, and responsibilities.
As I enter my third year at FSU, I’ve grown so much as a student and person. The supportive community, dedicated professors, and inspiring peers have shaped me into a confident, motivated individual and opened doors to opportunities I never imagined.
My favorite thing about FSU is how lively the campus always is. From Market Wednesday to ASLC movies and student events, there’s always something happening that makes FSU feel like more than just a place to study.
