What made you choose FSU?

I chose FSU because I saw its supportive community early on. As a first-generation student, I wanted a university that would provide guidance and support me throughout this journey. FSU gave me exactly that through the CARE Summer Bridge Program - a 6-week scholarship program that introduces FSU freshmen to college life.

Your advice to an incoming freshman?

My advice to incoming freshmen would be to get involved early. FSU has a wide variety of resources, such as SGA's Freshman Leadership Program, which is a semester-long cohort that teaches first-years about Student Government and Academic opportunities!

Most impactful resource/experience during your time at FSU?

The most impactful experience I have had at FSU would be during my time as Class President. For 3 years, I have been able to put my passions for service and programming into one space, building upon my leadership skills while also working alongside my best friends.

Fun Fact About You?

I have a twin brother who goes to school back down in Fort Lauderdale!

Your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus would definitely be our 1851 food hall! It's right next to our popular dorms, has a Starbucks, and is the cutest study spot on campus!
