Why did you choose FSU?

I chose FSU for a multitude of reasons. It is an intermediate distance from Miami, and I believe it is a perfect distance to where I can be independent, but also a feasible distance that I can visit my family or vice versa.

How did Belen prepare you for FSU?

Going to Belen made me feel like I was very prepared for college. We were provided with very rigorous coursework and were challenged to bring the best versions of ourselves on a daily basis. Belen helped me become a Man For Others, and they play a part in why I try to help others at all times.

What advice would you give an incoming freshman?

Make an effort to meet people early on, and treat everyone with kindness. The relationships you build from the start can shape your entire experience and open unexpected doors.

How has FSU shaped you?

FSU has provided so many opportunities for me to meet people from many different ways of life. In my sophomore year, I got involved with many student organizations across campus. It helped me get on my feet and meet people that would end up being my support system. I am a fond believer that it is the people that make the place!

What's your favorite thing about FSU?

My favorite thing about FSU is the campus itself. It is not only a beautiful campus, but it offers so many resources to students. My favorite areas on campus are the ASLC, Student Union, and Strozier Library.
