Students committed to enter as freshmen in the fall of 2008 have an average SAT score of 1265 and an average ACT score of 28.
Our students have recently received prestigious national scholarships and fellowships, including Rhodes Scholarships (2008 and 2005), Truman Scholarships, Fulbright Fellowships, a Goldwater Scholarship, a Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship, a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, a Fulbright Hays Award and a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship.
Ten Florida State students and alumni won Fulbright Fellowships for 2007-08 to research and teach in Austria, Chile, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, South Korea and Taiwan.
Florida State graduates in the class of 2007 found employment with major employers, including Ernst & Young, GEICO, Merrill Lynch, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Target.
Florida State undergraduate alumni are pursuing graduate or professional degrees at top universities, including the University of Chicago, Cornell, Duke, Emory, Georgetown, North Carolina, Northwestern, NYU, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Texas, the University of Virginia, Vanderbilt and Yale.
