Research at the Institute
on WWII Location:
The Library, Archives & reading Room for the Institute on WWII is located in
the Bellamy building at Florida State Univeristy.
Hours of Operation:
By appointment only, please call (850) 644- 9545 first to make an
appointment or
e-mail us.
Closed: Saturday, Sunday & holidays
Research Reading Room:
We have original, fragile, unique materials and books in our archives and
library. These
collections are kept in closed stacks and retrieved by staff, for use only in
our research reading room.
To obtain materials, a patron must submit a current photo identification
(student ID or driver's license, etc.) which will be held at the reference
desk, while the researcher is using the materials. All patrons must
sign our Institute's "Rules & Regulations" form. All copyright laws
must be followed. No tobacco, food, gum or drinks are permitted in any
of the rooms.
Lockers:
Individual lockers are provided to every researchers for all their
belongings. Briefcases, backpacks, purses, pouches, cell
phones and digital cameras
must be secured in the lockers. Only pencils (no pens) and index
cards (3 x 5), or laptops, are allowed in the research reading room.
Staff Research:
Limited staff prevents us from doing research for patrons. Home
