PUBLISHERS

Below is a suggested list of publishers who may be interested in your manuscript proposals.  Do not send unsolicited manuscripts.  The following publishers, except where noted, will consider a proposal.  A proposal should include a half-page synopsis, a 1 or 2 page outline, a sample chapter, photocopies of representative photos and maps, your biographical sketch, including your previous publications, total word count, and a sufficiently large self-address stamped envelope to return your proposal.  Allow for six weeks for evaluation.
