| One of the greatest morale builders for men serving overseas was the USO show. The USO, United Services Organization, was an amalgamation of six charitable groups who worked together to provide various services, including entertainment, for our troops. Entertainers, such as Bob Hope and Florida native Frances Langford, were famous for their participation in USO shows. |
