Building Plans

The current square footage of the Institute on WWII space is about 1,900 sq. ft. The Institute is in four rooms. The room that houses all of the memoriabilia (roughly 7,000 collections) is approximately 1,000 sq. ft. There is a small exhibit display in the office of the Director of the Institute (Dr. Oldson). There is a processing room which all donations of memorabilia are processed. To learn more about the processing of collections, see "The Collection Journey." The fourth room is the research room where researchers go to use the collections.

Our dream, as you will see from the conceptual building plans, is to have roughly 75,000 sq. ft. with 3 floors. We want it to be off campus where we will be visibly seen and easily accessible to everyone.
