The Women's Studies Database is
an electronic resource for women's studies scholars that is based at the
University of Maryland at College Park. The Women's Studies Database
was founded in September of 1992 to provide an information resource
to people interested in women's studies as an academic enterprise and in
general women's and gender-related issues. It contains a wealth of
information on the women's studies profession, women's studies conference
announcements, syllabi, and employment opportunities in gender-related fields,
as well as feminist film reviews, information on gender-related issues such
as sexual harassment and employment discrimination, and political/activist

TheWomen of Color Resource Center
(WCRC) is a non-profit education, community
action, and resource center working on social justice issues that affect
women of color. Founded in 1990, WCRC is focused on an agenda that
recognizes the crucial interconnections among anti-racist, anti-sexist, and
anti-homophobic work. The organization sustains ongoing dialogue among
women of color about their current status and strategies for change.
An integral part of the social change community, WCRC creates educational
and information resources about women of color. The organization collaborates
on community-based projects aimed at developing women-of-color leadership.
