Dissertation Support Group Updates

This month's meeting will be Thursday, September 26, at 7 PM at the Black Dog Cafe (off Monroe, next to the American Legion).  Meetings tend to run from an hour to an hour and a half.  Coming late or leaving early is perfectly acceptable.  Come prepared to talk about your progress toward your goal. Come even if you did not meet your goal--let's talk about what happened! If you were not present at the previous meeting, come to catch us up on what you've been doing!  Students at all stages of the dissertation process are welcome.

Meetings are generally in the fourth week of the month and rotate between Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to accommodate disparate member schedules.  The meeting places vary between different cafes and coffeehouses in town.

New people are always welcome and you can be at any stage in the dissertation process.  And , remember, the group is NOT just
for women any more. [Yes, we are still predominantly female in membership, but men can participate as full members and are very welcome.]

In addition to discussing everyone's progress [or possible reasons for the lack thereof], we will also be talking about a Fall Dissertation Retreat--a one-day deal that promises to be very productive!  

Note: We will continue to have a women only group for those who are interested. Please contact Rachel if you want to attend such a meeting.
