CAMPBELL, SLIGER STATUES TO BE UNVEILED AT FSU

Florida State University will unveil bronze statues honoring FSU presidents Doak S. Campbell and Bernard F. Sliger on Saturday at the new section of the Legacy Walk at Doak Campbell Stadium. President T.K. Wetherell will lead the festivities. FSU’s Master Craftsman Program is in the process of creating life-sized bronze statues of all the Florida State presidents. The decision was made by the administration to place these two at the stadium to honor Campbell for getting the original stadium built and to honor Sliger for getting FSU into the Atlantic Coast Conference.
