Catherine Black
Assistant Professor

     Dr. Black supervised the Honors Thesis of Brandi Thomas, titled "Female Hospital Gowns: An Assessment of Needs and Prototype Development," in Spring 2001.



Susan S. Fiorito
Associate Professor

     Dr. Fiorito supervised the research project, "Retailing on the Internet," of Corey Geraghy. This research study investigated historical use of the internet by retail companies and forecast future use. Kendy Shanks also worked on the research project, in which she collected information and web pages from all the retail stores and companies and current fashion designers’ use of the internet. Dr. Fiorito also supervised Lauren Madow, Daphne Lamb, and Jennifer Rosado’s DIS on "Merchandise Planned Program Manual."



Elizabeth Goldsmith
Professor

     Dr. Goldsmith supervised Alyson Price’s DIS (1996) on Human Sciences history. They co-authored a grant that was funded by the FSU College of Human Sciences that paid for Ms. Price to accompany Dr. Goldsmith to the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Annual Meeting and co-present a research paper titled "The Way We Are!"
