     Dr. Bourgeois supervised Jean Jordan's Spring 2001 Honors Thesis, titled "Analysis of Conversations Between College Students and Persons With and Without Aphasia."




Leonard LaPointe
Professor

     Dr. LaPointe supervised Adrienne Blanchard's Spring 2001 Honors thesis, titled "Effects of Circadian Rhythms on Perception of Quality of Life." Differences in perceptions of quality of life were analyzed, as well as differences between morning and evening perceptions for two groups of 20 people, aged 18-25 and over 65. Ms. Blanchard found a significant difference in overall perceptions of quality of life between the groups and also between morning and evening times. Her results were presented at the Florida Speech-Language-Hearing Association conference and also the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention.



Richard Morris
Associate Professor

     In Spring 2001 Dr. Morris supervised the Honors Theses of Kristin Day, titled "Age Related Differences in the Changing of Speech Timing Among Males" and Karen Solon, titled "Age Related Differences in Speech Rate Among Females."



Juliann Woods
Visting Associate Professor

     Dr. Woods supervised the Spring 2001 Honors Thesis of Andrea Lombardo, titled "Analysis of Routine-Based Intervention Strategies Within a Home Environment During Play Versus Caretaking Activities."
