Research (May 2001)
This pilot project, in collaboration with the
Institute for Health and Human Services Research, evaluated the training
and assistance tools available for Department of Children and Families
(DCF) employees using a new electronic case management system, HomeSafenet.
The Department of Children and Families (DCF), with input from the FSU
team, designed a survey to gather feedback from DCF workers using HomeSafenet.
The survey asked about the skill levels of users and the training and
support available for users. To expedite feedback and analysis, a web
instrument was developed. The web survey was developed and hosted
by the FSU Survey Research Laboratory (SRL). An e-mail with a link
to the site was sent to District employees. The data was supplied
to Institute for Health and Human Services Research staff for analysis
and reporting purposes.
