Joan Enders Autograph Manuscripts

Scope and Content:
This collection is comprised of autograph manuscripts dating from the 18th and probably even the 17th centuries. The first item is a petition of the four Ushers of the Court of Exchange, probably from the late 17th century. Two items are related to Hugh Hume, 3rd Earl of Marchmont (1708-1794), including a clipped piece with signature, "Marchmont" dated 1747 and a clipping containing information about Marchmont. The final item in the collection is a letter by William Bennet to Mrs. Wilkes of Walbrooke dated April 8, 1780.
