Robert George Clapp Interview
Biographical Note:
Robert G. Clapp served as Assistant Dean of the Florida State University
Library School from 1947, when it was founded, until 1967. He was an educator,
advisor and administrator at the School until his retirement in 1972. Robert
Clapp died in 1990 at the age of eighty.
Scope and Content:
Typed transcription of a radio interview with Robert George Clapp,
a member of the original FSU Library Science faculty. Interview was conducted
by C. S. Smith as an assignment for LS 570. Prepared for Pam Box 518 for
Martha Jane Zachert's course.
