Biographical Note:
Abraham Kurkindolle Allison was the Sixth (acting) Governor of Florida serving from April 1 to May 19, 1865. He was born in Georgia on December 10, 1810 and died in Quincy, Florida on July 8, 1893. Allison served as county judge of Franklin County, a clerk of the U.S. court, and as a member of the legislature of Territorial Florida. After the death of John Milton in 1865 A.K. Allison, as senate president, served as acting governor for just under two months.

Scope and Content:
A testamentary dateed July 17, 1893, signed by Paul Thompson, County Judge, Gadsden County. The document appoints C.E.L. Allison and Elizabeth S. Allison as Executor and Executrix of A.K. Allison's estate.
