Undergraduate Program
Philosophy
This two-year (junior/senior) specialization is designed to provide students with an introductory understanding of sport management and the various components that make up the sport industry. Although course content will mostly focus on the applied aspects of sport management, students will be required to become knowledgeable of the current literature, both applied and research based. The ability to take electives allows students to tailor their program towards their interest, whether it be business, recreation, or another discipline across campus. This program is designed and delivered as part of a general education curriculum, however the ability exists to enhance the student's practical experiences through elective internships.
