Mission Statement

The mission of the Sport Management specialization within the Physical Education degree program at the Florida State University is to continually strive to be an international leader in the education and development of students, and the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the broadly defined sport industry. We are committed to excellence in all aspects of teaching, research, and service to the sport community. Within this environment we seek to enhance opportunities for student development, collaborative research, and problem solving within the sport industry. This mission and policies of this program are and shall always remain compatible with those of the Florida State University.
