Orientations:

New graduate student Department Orientation - Monday, August 18th

New graduate student FSU Graduate Studies Orientation - Tuesday, August 19th. You will need to register for one of these two sessions.

What's New

Masayuki Yoshida, a doctoral student at FSU, won the prestigious NASSM Student Research Competition. He presented his research at the President's Luncheon at the NASSM Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 30th. His presentation was titled: “Value creation: Assessing the relationships between Big Q, Consumption Value, and Behavioral Intentions at sporting events”

Sport Management has selected scholarship awardees for 2007-2008 Sport Management Student Scholarship and Bill Jackson Memorial Scholarship. The awardees are Cheri Cox (Undergraduate), Jen Kentera (Master's student), and Masayuki Yoshida (Doctoral Student) for Sport Management Student Scholarship. Brandon Roth was the awardee of Bill Jackson Memorial Scholarship. Antoya Shuler was awarded the College of Education Dr. Billie Jones Scholarship.
The 2008 Sport Management Conference dates announced. September 25th-26th.
