Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Applicants must have met all of the following criteria before being admitted to the program:

  • Admission to Florida State University
  • Minimum overall grade point average of 2.50. The GPA is based on all college coursework.
  • Passing or exempting the College-Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST)
  • ENC 1101 – Basic English
  • Computer Literacy – CGS 2060 or CGS 2100
  • Speech – SPC 1016, SPC 2600 or SPA 2020
  • Completion of a minimum of 52 hours of college courses accepted by FSU

To apply for admission to the RLSA program, a prospective student must:

  • Submit a completed Recreation and Leisure Services Administration Application.
  • If not a current FSU student, applicants must also submit official transcripts for all college level course work.
  • Interview with the RLSA Undergraduate Admissions Coordinator - after submission of application documents qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview.

All of the above application documents should be submitted to: Undergraduate Admissions Coordinator, Recreation and Leisure Services Administration, 100 Tully Gym, Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida 32306-4280.

FEBRUARY 15 FOR FALL SEMESTER
