Internet Course Description

The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of the importance of being a reflective practioner and its contribution to overall professional development. The course will provide a variety of self-assessment and problem-solving strategies for reflecting and practice. Teachers will have opportunities to reflect and revise practice based on observation of learners, and will consult with professional literature, colleagues, and other resources to develop as a learner and teacher. Teachers will be introduced to and may select assignments that will lead toward National Board certification.
