Internet Course Description

The purpose of this course is to provide a critical analysis and in-depth study of a wide range of effective teaching topics that have been shown to be effective in fostering student achievement. Some of the topics to be studied will include teacher planning and decision making, classroom management and discipline, assessment and evaluation, diversity, and professionalism and ethics. Students will have the opportunity to read relevant research, view feature films, reflect on topics through their teaching physical education to K-12 learners, and participate in a wide range of discussions on the class discussion board.
