Internet Course Description
Programs in Adapted Physical Education is designed for graduate students in Physical Education with an interest in the area of programming for special needs students. The content of this class will be based on best practices in the planning, implementing and adapting existing programs of physical education, fitness, and recreational physical activity programs for special needs students in various settings. In addition to programmatic content, students will also receive instruction in administrative practices and policies and special needs legislation in education. Students will also have an opportunity to work directly with special needs students and teachers in various physical education settings in the local school system.
