Internet Course Description

This course focuses on the specific curriculum content and pedagogical strategies for teaching educational dance and gymnastics in elementary and secondary school physical education settings. Students will improve their knowledge of skill themes and movement concepts, design a progression of learning activities, and practice teaching dance and gymnastics lessons with their students. Teaching lessons to physical education students is a requirement of this course and will serve as evidence of application of the course content.
