The Student Broadcast Center, a bureau of the Student Government Association, is charged with entertaining and informing the students of Florida State University through video technology.


The stations are available on televisions in the residence halls. Channel 16, the SBC movie channel, is where each month a variety of blockbuster Hollywood movies are shown 24/7 as well as promotions for the events of student groups and the Student Government Association. Channel 20 provides full featured documentary films like Jean Killbourne's “Killing Them Softly” and “The Mythology Of Star Wars” by Bill Moyers as well as promotions for the events of student groups and the Student Government Association.
