Outreach Program
Team Leaders: Leadership in service
The Outreach Program is a student-led program. Many of the projects currently established were started with student interest. Team Leaders are selected by the Outreach Coordinator and other Center staff to lead each project. Projects and schedules vary from semester to semester, depending on student interest and community need.
Team Leaders are involved in driving the Center for Leadership and Civic Education vans to transport volunteers to and from the project site, meeting and greeting volunteers arriving for the projects, maintaining accurate sign-in and attendance records for each project, providing a pre-service explanation before each project, acting as a guide and liaison at the project site, and facilitating reflection with the volunteers at the end of each project. In addition, Team Leaders are expected to attend monthly meetings and stay in regular contact via email with the Outreach Program Coordinator.

Applications are accepted on an on-going basis, and interviews are scheduled as needed.
