The Education of Students with Exceptionalities is a linked Junior-Senior-Master's degree program. The degree major is a three-year program that culminates in the simultaneous awarding of the bachelor of science (BS) degree and the master of science (MS) degree.
The ESE Program is designed to prepare individuals for careers as public school teachers of students with disabilities including learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, mental disabilities, and physical disabilities. Upon completion of all program requirements, a graduate is eligible for Florida ESE teacher certification and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teaching Endorsement.
