Mary Frances Hanline is Chair of and Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling Services. She received her Ph.D. in special education at the University of California, Berkeley, with San Francisco State University, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education. She has directed multiple OSERS personnel preparation, demonstration, and research projects in early intervention and inclusive early education. She serves as a guest reviewer for Teacher Education and Special Education, JASH, Early Childhood Research Quarterly, JEI, and Topics in Early Childhood Special Education, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, presents at national and state conferences, and serves on national, state, and local committees related to the provision of special education and early intervention services.
