The Florida State University/Ringling Center for the Cultural Arts incorporates:

• The world-renowned Ringling Museum,
• The Ca' d'Zan (the former Ringling Residence),
• The Ringling Museum of the Circus,
• The Asolo Center for the Performing Arts, and
• Florida State University/Sarasota Dance.

The Florida State University/Ringling Center for the Cultural Arts brings together resources to create a comprehensive arts and cultural complex for the State of Florida.

The Center focuses on the following four areas:

1. Visual arts study, including exhibitions of historical and contemporary art with accompanying programs, studio art instruction, and art education;
   
   
2. Performing arts, including theatre, dance, music and circus;
   
   
3. History and cultural programs, including preservation of Ca' d'Zan and public and oral history projects;
