Background
John
Kelsay
(Ph.D. '85, University of Virginia, Ethics) is Distinguished Research
Professor and Richard L. Rubenstein Professor of Religion. His work
focuses on religious ethics, particularly in relation to the Islamic
and Christian traditions. His current work focuses on the political
import of doctrines of predestination; as well, Professor Kelsay
continues to write on topics related to Muslim and Christian traditions
of just war. Professor Kelsay serves as the co-editor of the Journal of
Religious Ethics.
