The
Florida State University Religion department is pleased to announce the
seventh annual Graduate Symposium. Over the three-day weekend, over
fifty scholars of religion will present papers related to this year's
theme "Religion, Community and Conflict."
On Saturday, March 1, internationally renowned historian of religion R.
Laurence Moore will deliver the keynote address, "Religion and
Nationalism in the New Global Age." A reception will follow.
On
Friday, February 29, director Kurt Kuersteiner and producer Dan Wester
will present a pre-festival screening of their new film The Comic Crusade of Jack T. Chick. A question and answer session with the producer and director, and a reception will follow.
