| Dr. Hock is currently studying factors affecting
lifecycle fertility and human capital investments among Americans,
including contraceptive access/awareness and immigration. He has recently
begun work on the "missing women" problem in the developing
world, focusing on the importance of the relative value of female labor.
He is additionally interested in the determinants of stated fertility
intentions, and the predictive information contained therein. Finally, he
is engaged in research on a number of other applied microeconomic topics,
including the impact of large-scale commercial development on household
budgets. |
