The DeVoe L Moore Center faculty are engaged in all aspects of academic life. They are award-winning teachers and researchers. The faculty serve on the editorial boards of professional journals and have been elected to leadership positions in their professional organizations. Among the agencies and foundations that have supported faculty research are the National Institute of Justice, the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, the Jesse Ball duPont Fund, Bradley Foundation, Florida Department of Labor, Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Independent Institute, the Earhart Foundation, the Institute for Humane Studies, the Carthage Foundation, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, and the Florida Department of Revenue.
