Dr. Holcombe is the author of ten books and more than 100 articles in scholarly and professional journals. He is Chairman of the Research Advisory Council of the James Madison Institute, a public policy think tank based in Tallahassee, and is a member of Governor Jeb Bush's Council of Economic Advisors. His most recent book is From Liberty to Democracy: The Transformation of American Government (2002).
