In addition to his academic pursuits, Travis enjoys physical fitness (H.I.T., Crossfit, basketball), literature (Homer, Poe, Eco), cinema (Kubrick, Lynch, Peckinpah), music (Queen, British Synth Pop, British Punk), and spending time with his one wife, two children, and three dogs. His long-term projects include making known the voices of the ancients (especially Aristotle) so they might inform current debates in philosophy of mind, epistemology, and (hopefully) moral responsibility and free will. He is neither a historian of ideas nor a literary critic, but he could be if he so desired.
