Philip was born in England, but left before acquiring an accent, living in New York, Germany, Maine and finally Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Evansville in Indiana, where he majored in archaeology and philosophy. He used to be interested in typical philosophical stuff, but now he's interested in not-so-typical stuff that may or may not be philosophical, depending on who you ask. When he's not lounging around the department, you can find Philip at the Tallahassee Rock Gym. He likes to brew his own beer. He also likes to spend his summers surveying archaeological digs in Arcadia, Greece.
