Clifford Lance Sosis, or C.L.Sosis as his innumerable acolytes refer to him, grew up in Spring Glen, NY (the heart of the borscht belt). He went to Ellenville Central High School, where he made movies, painted and wrote poetry, all of which he continues to do in his spare time. There he became familiar with the work of Nietzsche, Camus and Freud, and in 2000, he attended Ithaca College where he finally decided to major in philosophy. This is where he became acquainted with Marx, Sartre, Ayer, Wittgenstein, Quine and Keystone Light. This fall, he finished his coursework and began to work on parts of a dissertation on happiness/welfare/well-being and the foundations of hedonic/positive psychology (and its ethical/epistemological implications). He intends to enter the job market Fall, 2010, at the tender age of 28.
