PEA offers an array of opportunities for members, including access to scholarly presentations at AERA, research and service awards, mentoring workshops for graduate students and beginning faculty, networking opportunities at national conferences, and scholarly publications including the PEA Bulletin, which is published twice a year; the special issue of Educational Policy, which is the annual PEA yearbook; and the PEA sponsored issue of the Peabody Journal of Education, which is published once every two years. We are also very excited about the success of the William L. Boyd National Education Politics Workshop. This workshop offers mentoring and networking opportunities for beginning faculty and graduate students. In addition to scholarship and training opportunities, PEA also provides members with teaching resources and materials through the POETS website (Politics of Education Teachers Services, visit http://www.fsu.edu/~pea/poets.html.
