As if transferring wasn’t enough of a hassle, now you have to think about where to stay. Most apartment complex provide leases starting August, making the transferring process even more complicated for those students arriving in January. However, as you will find out when you get here, life with a roommate doesn’t always work out, so many students are subleasing, or re-renting, their bedrooms. I’ve collected a few names and telephone numbers of subleases posted around campus, and to your advantage these turn out to be cheaper than actually leasing for the entire year. Check the websites following the apartment complex names for full details on each housing complex. You can either contact the complex directly and try to get a full lease, or contact the people in this list, which are actual residents of the complex which are moving out and get a cheaper sublease.
