Grill & Restaurant by Monica De Leon and Ana Cristina Koo.
Shamrocks opened its doors to the public on September of 2003. Their only branch is located in La Boca, close to FSU. A few days ago we went to Shamrocks with a couple of friends to get opinions about the place and the food. Besides the regular plates, we found out about 10 plates included in an Executive Menu: Baby Ribs, Shamrocks Chicken, BBQ Meat, Milanese Seabass, Cordon Blue, pastas, hamburgers, soups and salads. These plates include soda with refill and flan for dessert. Their specialty, as the waiters say, is meat. Coincidently or not, the same thought crossed our minds when we finished eating. The food turned out to be delicious and the service was very fast, our meals arrived in the blink of an eye; I think most of the time was taken up deciding what to order. The waiters are very friendly and the most important thing, the food is delicious. Price? Well, for the executive menu they vary between $4.75 and $6.95, which we consider moderate. Non-concrete plans of opening another branch are being made. Meanwhile, we highly recommend you to go visit Shamrocks. FSU Students get a 10% discount on their entire meal if they present their FSU Student ID. Bon appetite! |
