This semester’s Night of the Arts, hosted an award ceremony to praise the talent of some of our young student athletes. Mr. Eric Holland, head of the Atheltic Department, and Marcus Guillette, SGAP athletics representative, handed out the awards. The following students were recognized for their support to the schools sports programs: Stevie Bodden for women’s soccer; Daniel Arevalo for men’s soccer; Ricardo Acevedo for indoor soccer; Angela Sardi for women’s volleyball; Manuel de la Guardia for men’s volleyball; Carlos Dawson for softball; and Eduardo Garcia for American football. Eric Holland was sure to mention how active our Athletic department is currently. In addition to honoring students who excel in sports, the awards are also a way to motivate others to participate in the University’s many extra curricular sports activities.
