On any given Friday half of FSU-Panama can be found here. Liquid is also famous because of the DJ’s house parties. DJs such as George Acosta, Anthony Pappa and Saeed & Palash have preformed here. http://www.liquidpanama.com/ - ROCK CAFÉ is probably the oldest club in Panama, and there are numerous reasons why this club has lasted for more than 10 years. Rock Café got famous because of its Ladies’ Nights on Tuesday, where its “Staff” interacts in mischievous games with the women. http://www.rockcafepanama.com/ - SKAP is located in Uruguay Street, the area with the best night-life in Panama. Above SKAP is a bar called El Atico where local bands play covers. - S6IS and OZ are both great bars either to hang out before another engagement or to stay the entire night. Both bars are very chic and a bit more exclusive than other bars. - DEEP ROOM is in front of SKAP. This bar offers pure house music, which keeps on playing until the sun comes out. This is a great place for an after-party, since people start showing up quite late. Casco Viejo is the colonial part of Panama, which has been reconstructed in the past couple of years. This part of Panama has an excellent night-life for people of all tastes. - TAKE 5 is a restaurant/bar, which has a chilling environment. It has live jazz bands every Friday that are very good. If you are looking for a place to eat, or sip on a drink this is a perfect choice. - BLU is “fashion” bar as its owner calls it. Local DJ Tom Sawyer can be found here quite often. Electronic music is played all night. - 844 is a bar that has everything. This is definitely a place to go. The bar is divided into many sectors that can be rented if you want a semi-private party. The first floor plays every type of music, while the second is more secluded and plays only house. The biggest attractions of this bar are its beds, which can be found on both floors. - CAFÉ DE ASIS is located in a colonial style Plaza. This café has an outdoor section with tables, and an indoor section with bean-bags. Sitting outside is a good choice when you are with a group of friends hanging out, and it can also be very romantic. There are several other cafes in this area that have the same style. Soooo…after presenting so many options to go out, there is no excuse for you to stay home. After all the economy is suffering and it is our job to help it out of the slump and in the process have an excellent time. |
