Courses offered:

  • Midi 1
    This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of MIDI systems operation. Students work with keyboard based and computer based sequencers. Projects include creating MIDI orchestrations of existing works as well as composing original works.

  • Midi 2
    In the advanced course we focus on the aesthetics of Midi production. Emphasis is on critical listening skills, effective composition techniques, and production values. This class also covers operating a mixing console, recording and editing digital audio, and audio for the internet.

  • Contemporary Media
    This course is a music industry survey designed to prepare music students for life outside of college.
