3. GRE scores. A score of 1000 or higher (a xeroxed copy will suffice for this office although official copies are required by the Graduate Admissions Office) Please upload a copy as Document 4 in the Supporting Documents (FSU on-line application). 4. GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point system) or higher as an upper division student. (IMPORTANT: Candidates must have a 3.0 GPA (on a 4-point system) or higher as an upper division student AND/OR GRE score (verbal and quantitative) of 1000 or higher for departmental consideration for admission.) 5. TOEFL scores (for international students whose native language is not English). There is a requirement of a minimum score of 550 on paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 80 on the internet-based test. (We prefer an official copy, but a xeroxed copy will suffice for this office although official copies are required by the Graduate Admissions Office of the University). Please upload a copy as Document 5 in the Supporting Documents (FSU on-line application). 6. 2 Copies of transcripts from all colleges/universities from which you have attended and/or received a degree (one for Graduate Admissions, and one for the department). Final admission to the University is subject to approval by the department or school. While there are minimal University admission requirements, the departments can, and frequently do, set admission standards significantly higher than these minima.
