Welcome to Intermediate Spanish II! SPN 2240 is a fourth semester course designed for students who wish to continue their study of Spanish beyond the three-semester requirement at FSU. This course provides a review of Spanish grammar as well as development of the four communicative skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing. This course is designed for students who have completed SPN 2200, 2220, or equivalent, with a grade of C- or higher, or who have earned a score of 46-54 on the Spanish Placement Test. The Placement Test may be taken at the Assessment Services Test Center in University Center, Building C, Suite 1200. Information regarding the placement test may be found at http://www.fsu.edu/%7Emodlang/undergrad/placement.htm. This course may not be taken concurrently with any SPN 1000-2000 level course and is closed to native or heritage speakers of Spanish. Students who do not comply with the aforementioned requisites risk being dropped by the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics after the Drop/Add Period has ended.
