Anel Brandl is the Assistant Director of the Spanish Basic Language Program. She has an M.A. degree in Spanish with concentration in Linguistics from Florida State University.    She has taught a variety of Spanish courses at FSU, ranging from elementary Spanish to advanced Spanish grammar and Spanish phonology.   Her research interests include sentence processing in second language acquisition. Anel is currently completing her dissertation on the processing strategies utilized during early second language acquisition
