Zachary Kirkpatrick (zlk07@fsu.edu) is from Panama City, Florida. He majors in Philosophy and Spanish literature. His approach to literary study is heavily influenced by philosophical questions of truth and power. Zach intends to learn French, Spanish, and German and to focus on the fields of 19th-20th century European philosophy, phenomenology, (post)structuralism, as well as the more cross-disciplinary fields of feminist theory/criticism, and queer theory.His personal goal for this year is to develop a proficiency in Catalan and visit or live in Catalunya
in the near future.
