Induction Ceremony '08-'09 This year, a record number of students were inducted into the Alpha Delta chapter of Sigma Delta Pi. The ceremony was organized and led by chapter president Rosario Michelle Ramírez Matabuena. After the ceremony, the group went to La Fiesta to celebrate. |

Noche de Poesía On March 21, 2008 at 7:00 pm, Sigma Delta Pi members and Tertulias regulars got together to celebrate poetry. Some read popular poems by Spanish-speaking poets as others read lesser-known poems. Some even shared poems they themselves had written. |
| Noches en la cama | On February 25 and 26, 2008 at 6:30 pm, Sigma Delta Pi members hosted "Noches en la cama." On the first night, El otro lado de la cama was shown followed by a discussion of sex in the 21st centruy in Spain. On the second night, the sequel Los dos lados de la cama was shown followed by a discussion of 21st century Spanish film. This event was organized by Rosario Michelle Ramírez Matabuena. |
| Tertulias | Since September of 2007, the Spanish table has met on a weekly basis. Sigma Delta Pi members, FSU Spanish students and community members of all levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. Induction Ceremony '07-'08 The ceremony was held at Los Amigos, a Mexican restaurant. Members were given a glass to decorate in recognition of their success. |
