An over-head projector, 35 mm slide projector and a monitor with standard U.S. format VCR will be available in each room. Individual presenters are responsible for any additional audiovisual or computer equipment. 

A registration form must be submitted for each participant. The registration fee for presenting participants is $75 and $50 for non-presenting participants. Advance copies of the conference program will be mailed to registered participants. Refunds will not be processed after publication in the conference program. The fee includes one copy of the conference program ($2 for additional copies), admission to all sessions, beverage breaks, keynote presentation, and cash-bar reception. The Mickee Faust Players, a local comedy troupe, will be performing parodies of films and literary works at lunch on Friday. The fee for Friday’s lunch and entertainment is $12. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at three area hotels. Please make reservations prior to Jan. 15, 1998. To qualify for special rates and shuttle transportation from the hotel to the Center, you must specify that you are with the FSU Film and Literature Conference. 

Air Transportation  

Delta Air Lines, Inc. makes it easy for attendees to book airline reservations to attend the conference. Delta is offering special discounted meeting fares of up to 10% off the lowest domestic published fare for travelers booking at least 60 days prior to departure. To expedite travel arrangements, please call (800)241-6760 between 8 a.m.-11p.m. Eastern time. Identify yourself as a 23^rd Annual Conference on Film and Literature attendee and refer to Delta’s special meeting file # XE190 . 

A limited number of parking spaces are located in lots in the front and back of the Turnbull Center. A metered visitor’s lot ($.35/hour) is located adjacent to the Center at the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets. Additional parking is usually available at the Civic Center directly across from the Turnbull Center at $3 a day.
